Universidad Anáhuac Mayab

The Anahuac Mayab University (Spanish: Universidad Anáhuac Mayab) is a private institution of higher education in Mérida, Yucatán, México and belongs to the religious congregation of the Legion of Christ. It was founded in 1984 through an initiative of Archbishop Manuel Castro Ruiz with the support of a group of businessmen from southern Mexico. The University began with degrees in Business Administration, Tourism Business Administration, Accounting, and Law. At present, 22 bachelor degrees are offered, in addition to masters and doctoral degrees

Nested in Southeast Mexico, the Anahuac Mayab University is located just 15 minutes away from the city of Merida, capital of Yucatan, better known as the "White City" for the color of its buildings and clean streets, today acting as the center of economic, tourist and educational activity in this region of Mexico.

Estimated Monthly Costs of Living in MXN:

  • Students have the option of living in student residences or homestay, renting homes or apartments (individually or shared basis) according to their preferences, all strategically located in the best areas of the city and within reach of our university bus.
  • In order to help those students who do not wish to belong to the International Mayab Buddy Program, in finding suitable accommodation, we offer a broad portfolio of hosting with a choice of independent rooms, family rooms in houses and apartments for rent. The Hosting Portfolio specifies the price, location and services in each home, and is constantly updated and evaluated by the Foreign Student Care Center Staff (CAF).
