The main campus is in Seoul, and the second one, the Education Research Industry Cluster at Ansan, or ERICA campus, is located in Ansan. Hanyang derives from the former name of the capital Seoul which was used during the Chosun Dynasty. Its motto and educational philosophy is Love in Deed and Truth.
The Seoul Campus is located near the center of Seoul and has a subway station on campus (line # 2 – green line) so students have very good access to all areas in Seoul. The Seoul Campus boasts up-to-date facilities including libraries, dormitories, cafeterias, and coffee shops.
The ERICA campus, which has been transformed into an educational research cluster at Ansan in the center of the west coast, is developing a new successful model for industry-academia cooperation and nurturing excellent practical talents required by society. The ERICA campus is recognized as a prestigious university-industry collaboration with research institutes and companies
