With more than 10.000 students the Hochschule Hannover is the second largest university in Hanover, the capital of the federal state of Lower Saxony. Institutionalized in 1971 from various educational precursors – the oldest dating back to the year 1791 – the Hochschule Hannover offers a particularly wide range of subjects in five faculties.
The Hochschule Hannover encourages and supports international mobility of its students to keep up with the growing globalization of the economy. Cooperative agreements with more than 70 partner institutions worldwide provide opportunities for students to enhance their language and intercultural skills and eventually increase their professional chances both at home and abroad.

Location

The city of Hannover has a population of more than 500,000 residents. Over one million people reside in the Hannover region. The city is also an international meeting place where numerous global companies have their headquarters and international fairs and exhibitions take place every year, such as the CeBIT and the Industry Fair. Hannover lies in between the North German Plains and the rolling hills and mountains in the central part of Germany. The more than 750 year old city is the capital city of Lower-Saxony as well as its political, economic, and cultural center. Hannover is known as the “Green City”, with large parks, forests and garden areas. In the summer, the famous baroque Herrenhausen Garden is a location for various festivals. A flourishing cultural life goes on throughout the year, with musical and theatre performances, concert halls, museums, and galleries. 

Academics

Requirements:

To participate in this internship exchange program, you must be in your final year of your bachelor's degree in Medical Information Management.
