Adolfo Ibáñez University is an academic, non-profit community, born of the Business School of Valparaiso. It was created in 1953 by the Adolfo Ibáñez Foundation, depositary of the legacy of the businessman and public man, Don Adolfo Ibáñez Boggiano, and constituted a university in 1988.

Location

SANTIAGO is located in the center of Chile, 30 minutes (taking a bus) away from the Chilean main airport “Arturo Merino Benítez”. It’s the home to almost one-third of the country’s population, with more than six million people. 
 

Academics

At Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez our international students have the freedom to enroll in either our specially designed courses as well as in our regular courses with Chilean students (pregrado courses). The undergraduate courses have a longer semester in relation to our specially designed courses, ending their classes in July (spring) and in December (fall), and all of them are taught in Spanish.

Options

UAI does not offer accommodation on campus, but the university gives all needed support in order to find good housing options (staying with host families or renting apartments)
